Need Claim Status? Meet Sage our Digital Assistant for Claim Status

Starting  July 1, 2025, providers can access our new Claim Status Digital Assistant. Her name is Sage, and she will help you to easily check Railroad Medicare Part B claim statuses.

Here’s how to start:

You can access Sage through our chat links available through eServices or Railroad Medicare’s website by clicking on the Chat Now button in the lower right corner of our webpages.

A Prechat Data Field box will pop-up. This is where you enter your name, email address and phone number. Next, under Inquiry Information select Claims from the drop-down menu, then select Check Claim Status.

After selecting "Check Claim Status," a box will automatically open for you to enter your provider credentials and claim information. Complete all required Prechat data fields identified with a red asterisk (*).
